    A quirky part of WWII

Posted by Julie on 2nd May 2026

This story begins at the end of WWII and the Vienna Riding School is in jeopardy. Mares sent away, and now the stallions at risk, of bombs or for food, so escape they must. It brings back memories from my childhood, I saw this movie with my parents! And it remains a fascinating true story of humanity in times of darkness.
